The league has approximately 200 registered players, with two divisions (Women's Open and Co-Ed). The Women's Open Division boasts 10 teams on average and the newly formed Co-Ed Division has been very well received and is growing quickly. It currently hosts approximately 6 teams per season. League matches are held on Sunday evenings (Women's Open) and Tuesday evenings (Co-Ed), at Brian Piccolo Park in Cooper City, Florida. The Women's Open Division offers three seasons per year, one beginning in late August and concluding in December. The second begins in February and ends late in April. Finally, every summer the league also hosts a season in a 7 versus 7 format. The Co-Ed Division offers two seasons per year - one in the Spring and one in the Fall. The league also hosts two tournaments a year. The tournament allows the BWSL community (including all of the male fans) to come together and play soccer in a fun and spirited one day competition. The tournament follows a women's co-ed 7 versus 7 format. CLICK HERE for more details.
